Jacy Richardson

3D Artist

Jacy (JC) defines herself as a 3D artist, which carries different meanings within her practice and commercial work. In the interchange between the digital and physical realms, she finds her medium. With a background in digital art, she traverses the boundaries of the tangible and the intangible, blending a narrative that blurs the lines between what is real and what is imagined.

In exploring physical space, she approaches each project as a dynamic canvas, carefully considering how it plays into the viewer’s experience. Whether transforming a gallery, a natural history museum, or a sports arena, she redefines spatial narratives, inviting viewers to embark on a sensory voyage. Her commercial work serves not only as a showcase of artistic skill but also as channels for human connection and engagement.

She brings these skills as a 3D/VFX Artist to Cortina Productions, located outside of Washington D.C. She also carries her work and experience into the classroom as an Assistant Professor at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
